Many UK venues are required to store contact details of their customers and visitors for 21 days. SafeVenues creates a QR Code for your venue that enables people to scan in and out with their mobile phone using the SafeVenues app. We store the contact data securely for you for 21 days, and provide to NHS when requested.

Share and Care

The SafeVenues platform enables your customers to report Covid 19 symptoms and diagnosis following a visit to your venue. When your customers sign out of your venue their contact details with the date and time they attended will be securely held on our system. By default, information is not available to anyone apart from the NHS for track and trace but users will be asked if they wish to share their contact details with your venue so you can stay in touch.

How it works

SafeVenues is a very simple yet powerful track and trace app. To begin with, you regsiter your venue and we provide you with a QR Code (like a bar code) as well as some signage for you to display. This advises your customers that they need to scan in to your venue using the SafeVenues app, which they download for free.

SafeVenues is connected to our partners at Facebook, Apple and Google so users can – with a single click – tell our partners they’re happy to share their contact details with us, so it’s super quick. Or they can register by inputting their email address.

Once registered, our platform keeps a record of who has scanned into your venue together with what day they were there and how long they stayed. All with just a single scan of a QR code. Like magic.

Later if you’re asked by the NHS Track and Trace team to provide informaton relating to a certain date and time, SafeVenues will take care of that for you.

Promoting Your Venue

When you register your venue with SafeVenues track and trace system, you select which category venue you want to be listed under.

We record your exact location coordinates from your venue address, and since we know the location of our app users, anyone within a 25 mile radius looking for a SafeVenue in your category (like bar, restaurant, cinema, etc) will see your details.

As well as your venue’s name with a picture, our app users will see your address, web address, phone number, email address and if you have an online booking system they will see a booking button which will open up your booking page from your web site from within the app.

So with SafeVenues, you’re not only helping keep your customers healthy but you’re helping keep your business healthy too.

Keep in touch

SafeVenues adheres to strict GDPR rules and is committed to privacy. The platform will never share any data with anyone apart from the NHS, unless your visitor clicks the option to share their details with your venue.

If they do this, you can download opt-in visitor contact details from the SafeVenues system to send newsletters and promotions to your customer base.
