What happens when you sign up?
To register your venue(s) with SafeVenues complete the registration form and provide us some basic venue information. This information will display in the app when nearby app users are looking for a safe venue. You can upload an image of your venue and if you take online bookings you can insert the URL for app users to make bookings.
To complete the regsitration process takes just a few minutes. Each venue on our system has a unique reference number, and this is converted into a QR code. A QR code is like a bar code but can be scanned by any mobile phone camera. You download the QR code so you can print it out, and you can also download the signage artwork pack. This contains instructions to your customers what to do.
When your customers arrive, they will probably already have the SafeVenues app, but if they don’t they download it from the app store and register. Registration is quick because we’re partnered with Facebook, Apple and Google for one click regsitration.
Once registered they scan in. When they scan their device knows they are at your venue, it knows the time and date and it knows their contact details. All that information is securely saved on our system for 21 days, to comply with regulations.
When your customers leave, they will be asked by the app if they want to share their contact details with your venue. If they click yes, they will be added to your mailing list which you can download from your SafeVenues account.
